Electromechanical Elevators

The Mechanical Elevator is the oldest type of elevator. The driving force in addition to gravity is a pulley adapted to a reducer and this in turn to an electric motor. The chamber is suspended on one side of the pulley and the counterweight on the other. The chamber and the counterweight are in a fixed vertical orbit, between rails. The command of the movement is given to the electric motor by the electronic board-brain of the elevator. With the help of technological development, the mechanical elevator can now release with the help of UPS, but also achieve very good quality runs in which speed changes and stops are imperceptible. In the latter, the development of inverter technology helped a lot.
